Work with a team of Engineers to assist with the Production of Vehicles' needs, machines and tools in the Plant.

Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan Area

Develop project specific specifications, evaluate proposals, and issue requisitions for discipline related equipment. Provide engineering calculations using defined procedure and Company formats and margins. Calculations may be for equipment or complete plant cycle, depending on discipline, i.e., short circuit calculations, pump head and flow, heat balance, valve sizing, HP requirements, pipe wall thickness calculations, etc. Review vendor approval drawings for correctness and contract requirements. Implement vendor information into design document, (i.e., vendor P&ID) and integrate into Company drawing, shop drawings, motor schematics, panels to interconnection drawings, etc. Understand discipline-based components of power plant and cycle and rudimentary knowledge of complete plant. Complete engineering tasks assigned by Lead Engineer. Capable of doing one or two tasks at a time. Perform other duties as assigned.
