I am Hassan Sammour. I am a Machine Learning engineer that has been working for 0.5 years at soaal.co which is an Information technology company that builds conversational AI assistants to connect businesses with their customers on customers’ preferred channels. At soaal.co, we have created an efficient business process of answering customer frequently asked questions by building a repository of questions and answers that the AI assistant could learn from and expand on. I studied Computer Engineer at the Islamic University of Gaza, graduated with a very good grade, and ranks 5th in my class. I love participating in programming contests. I participated in ACM PCPC and got 4th place in Gaza, and Google Kick Start Programming Competition got 1st place in Gaza and participated in Meta Global Hackathon.I was always curious about this weird device that I use to play games and contact with our relatives abroad. So I decided to join the computer engineering faculty after high school. During my study at the university, I started exploring the software engineering field through many trainings and internships. I was a mobile development trainee at a company called Altariq. There I realized that mobile development wasn’t for me. I didn’t feel passionate about it and because there are many fields in computer engineering, I decided not to stop there and explore other fields. After this, I started studying web development. I had an opportunity to get training from MENA Alliances which is a well-known institute in the middle east that offers Full-Stack Software Engineering Bootcamp training for students. There I studied some of the Full-Stack technologies. and now I'm learning Machine Learning to compose between these technologiesFor the next steps in my career, I am looking forward to applying and expanding my knowledge in Machine learning, data mining, and web development so that I can have experience in the whole process of both of them.
