Founder and director of Opus 5K, the company behind the MARS Auditing System used in many of the largest healthcare and aged care providers across Australia and beyond.I am an entrepreneur with a solid business background. I always look for ways to use technology to do things better, in particular to drive improvements to efficiency, effectiveness and cost.I like to see things from our users' perspective (I have been known to sit at hospitals and simply watch the processes unfolding so that I can truly understand time and motion). This then helps to ensure our systems are aligned to the real-world requirements of our clients.Our solutions meet the requirements of auditing, workforce planning and patient travel, and enable our clients to embed their policies, processes and procedures into automated workflows which are then deployed across the entire organisation; so now everybody knows what to do and when to do it!When not working, I am revelling in the pure musical genius of Tchaikovsky, Brahms and Paganini, and can be seen frequenting South Bank to support our local Queensland Symphony Orchestra. I am also an avid, curious star-gazer; there's nothing more grounding than contemplating the outcome of the collision with the Andromeda Galaxy which is currently hurtling towards us at 110 km/s!
