- Monitoring the operations of the control room and advise the DCS Operators as required of action to be taken for various process parameters.- Participate in the implementation of minor plant modifications and ensure they conform to company standards or industry codes and standards.- Perform all required engineering calculation, material and heat balance, chemical consumption calculation.- Studying lab test reports, standard log sheets and other daily operating activity reports, and highlights abnormalities and suggests corrective actions.- Ensure that all safety regulations related to the plant operator, equipment and the environment are considered at all stages.- Prepare daily production and management reports.- Conducting training for field and control room operators.- Supervise subordinates in commissioning of all equipment and guide operation crew during plant startup/shutdowns.
