• Worked on a detailed report combing political and economic situation of Pakistan since last election. Divided the report into three themes: PTI's tenure from 2018 to 2022, PDM's tenure from 2022 to 2023, and Caretaker Government. Such reports assist investors in determining the future of economy under different possible governments.• Prepared research reports for foreign investors on National Foods and Murree Brewery. The reports focused on financial performance, market share, competitors and future outlook, eventually giving a Buy/Sell Call at the end. Undertook significant secondary research and used different financial indicators to justify the call.• Attended various earning calls/investor briefing sessions of listed companies on PSX and extracted key information given by the management in these calls.• Aided the compliance team in reviewing the prospectus of Symmetry Group for IPO. Reviewed two versions of the prospectus and highlighted significant differences which didn't match with the SECP approved version of prospectus. The 212 pages long prospectus was reviewed thoroughly.• Assisted the research team in preparing a detailed analysis on Sugar Sector of Pakistan. Compiled all the financial data of 28 listed sugar companies of Pakistan, highlighted major trends/significant events like the allowance of sugar exports and extracting data from SBP as well as spotted anomalies to further refine the research.

• Conducted two informative trips to Pakistan Stock Exchange for students of a finance course and around 150+ students attended the trip.• Spearheaded IBA's only real time virtual stock trading competition, iStockX'23, by collaborating with Investors Lounge and Topline Securities. The month long competition attracted interest of around 440+ students where they traded real time in PSX with virtual money on the platform provided by Investors Lounge.• Collaborated with Central Depository Company (CDC) and Investors Lounge to conduct a session at IBA for promoting recently launched mutual fund marketplace, Emlaak Financial and enhancing students' knowledge regarding different financial products. • Assisted School of Business Studies (SBS, IBA) in launching the IBA Finance Lab and arranging a formal opening ceremony where SBP Governor Mr Jameel Ahmed was the chief guest. Arranged all the necessary items, undertook marketing activities and operational tasks.• Oragnized a session on "Scope of ESG Investments in Pakistan" for the students of IBA where Mr. Muhammad Saad, CFA elaborated upon the concept of ESG and its relevance in todays world.

• Reconciled KDSP' largest annual donation campaign known as Donate-A-Thon. Reconciliation process consisted of cross checking the information already posted in the excel sheet with the information in donation books and both of these should match with the donation amount in the proof of payments. Significant differences were reported to the supervisors and were corrected. The reconciliation was done in two parts: Internal Reconciliation (within the department) and Reconciliation with Finance Department. • Assisted the team in maintaining a grant calendar by finding out different grant opportunities each month and updating the calendar respectively. • Prepared a PowerPoint Presentation which was proposal for SCB×KDSP skills program• Contacted various brand activation agencies for a donation campaign across different educational institutions in Karachi. Shortlisted the agencies with favourable quotes as well as those who met the requirements, eventually allowing the team to conduct such campaign in the following months.

Nixor Financial Services (NFS) is a for-profit student run entity that provides various financial services and products to the Nixor community. Some of the products include SUIT E-Wallet (previously known as SUIT card) which is Pakistan's first student operated and initiated credit facility offering discounts on various restaurants. This comes under the division of NFS Retail.As a financial analyst, I was a part of NFS Capital, which was responsible for making investment into the equity market of Pakistan and designing courses that focused on financial literacy. During my tenure, I was part of a team that used to research and then invest into stocks in order to make profits and attract other investors. Along with this, I was also responsible for making budgets and financial documents before any event.This experience allowed me to have greater understanding of the financial word as I was not only exposed to the working of stock market but also learnt how a finance department is essential for an entity's operations. This further increased my interest in financial markets, which is why I then planned to pursue the degree of accounting and finance.
