My experience was built during a period exceed 20 years, diversified through different areas covering Project Finance, Syndication, Bond Issuing, FI and Retail Banking, has a strong knowledge in conventional, Islamic Finance and credit structuring. I started in Banque Misr as a credit officer then moving across the bank in credit risk, retail risk, FI risk, then participated in a two years project to develop and re-engineer bank's key processes for all business lines. Finally I participate in creating the Islamic Sector of Banque Misr , which I’m now it’s the deputy head.My present role at Islamic sector is heading multiple of Islamic corporate divisions; Project Finance, Syndication, club deals and Corporate Finance. I am also board member representing Banque Misr in one of its chemical companies investments.Academically;I am a Future leader graduate , where I obtained in June 2022 my Future leader Certification Program from EBI “The Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) was established in 1991 by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to act as its official training arm with a vision to be the preferred partner for developing the human capital of the banking ecosystem in Egypt “ in cooperation with The Financial Studies Institute (Institut d’Estudis Financers - IEF)-spain . I was one of 23 selective participants from Egypt banking sector to join the program. The program enhances leadership skills through improving the ability of leaders to resolve conflicts, influence others, coaching, developing high-performance and mastering the different leadership styles to lead various types of teams.I have a Professional Diploma in Credit and risk from The American University in Cairo.I obtained a certified credit in-house course from banque Misr in cooperation with PWC and Shindy & Associates- Jilan Shindy. I hold a B.SC in Accounting from Faculty of Commerce English Department Accounting major in 2000.
