Hassan, originally from Uganda and now a resident of Los Angeles, is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Diplomacy at the University of Southern California. He graduated with honors from California State University, Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Global Politics and a Minor in Law and Society.As a Staff Member at the Future We Want Model United Nations, Hassan plays a pivotal role in organizing annual global youth Model United Nations Conferences. Additionally, he served as a Development Intern in charge of Programs and Events at the San Diego Diplomacy Council, where he contributed to organizing national and international projects aimed at promoting diplomacy and highlighting the organization's impactful work.For the past eight years, Hassan has been actively involved with the American Red Cross as an International Service Caseworker, focusing on tracing and reuniting families, including refugees, separated by conflict and natural disasters.Hassan has also held leadership positions in various organizations. He currently serves as the Director of Programs at the Society of Public Diplomats, having previously worked as an International Student Liaison. He represents his peers as a Public Diplomacy Program Student Representative in the USC Annenberg Graduate Student Government and contributes as a Board Member of the Norman Topping Student Aid Fund, where he co-chairs the Scholarship Selection Committee.
