Sarah Sylbing and Ester Gould (directors of television series Schuldig) are making a new television series called KLASSEN about inequality in education (broadcasted in November and December at NPO1). I am currently working on the preparations for the impact campaign around this series in which we discuss the inequality in education with teachers, school leaders, scientists, politicians, parents and students to find solutions together.

I designed the new curriculum on documentary filmmaking for the first year students (all disciplines) of the Netherlands Film Academy. In 2019 we started and now I teach there.Every once in a while I also teach in the second of third year.

After producing 'What the cas sees' (at KeyFilm) the director of Dutch public broadcaster Human Bert Janssens asked me to come and work for them. This was a great place to learn a lot. I've founded Breaking Ground, a platform for European Student Film. Right after art school I started at KeyFilm, the production company of Hans de Wolf & Hanneke Niens. I started as a production assistant, then became the 'development executive' for a short while and then I freelanced as a script editor for them (a.o. on their ONE NIGHT STAND films in 2011).In 2011 I delivered my first documentary WHAT THE CAT SEES (KeyDocs, Kim Brand, 17'). This film was nominated for a Golden Calf at the Netherlands Film Festival.

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands

Together with Michiel Rummens (co-writer and director) I wrote the 50-minute screenplay 'Down Under', a series of fiction films for television (VARA/NTR/VPRO). Lev Pictures was our producer.

InDeMaak was a monthly Dutch Student Film Festival at Louis Hartlooper Complex in Utrecht.
