1) Testing of all Grid Staion Equipments and Relays;2) Troubleshooting During Faults;3) Fault Analysis during Trippings;4) Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completedwork assignments and work techniques and sign off on Performance Evaluation Reports of assistant managers serving directly under him/her;5) Review and assure quality of services delivered by grid teams to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures;6) Diagnose problems and share solutions to create learning experiences and demonstrate effective problem-solving approaches;7) Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments and setting priorities and timely request to the NPCC for the approved shutdown of grid;8) Issues guideline, schedules and authorization for the preventive andemergency maintenance programs, and carries out frequent inspection to ensure compliance by the relevant team;10) Timely reporting of frequent overloading, tripping event and abnormal incidents at grid to Manager;11) Review month-end meter reading report and calculate net output and forward the same to Finance, DISCO and NPCC;12) Finalize monthly and quarterly variance analysis report with approved AssetManagement Plan, Monthly Budget and Procurement Plans along withjustifications for negative variances. Present the variance analysis report to Manager for review and approval;13) Maintain effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders toensure smooth execution of operation and maintenance activities, in this regard, ensure submission of information/ explanation as required;14) Ensures safety parades by the employees are held to make sure that working practices are safe and the employees are adequately trained in safety measures;15) Articulates the direction to the team and holds them accountable for completion or achievement of task; and16) Ensure the accuracy and completeness of recordings of all asset updates in Asset Management Data Store.

1. Seeks inputs from T/L team for the preparation of Asset Management plan, operational budget and procurement plan;2. Review and consolidate Asset Management Plan, Operational Budget and Procurement Plan prepared by AM T/L and share it with Manager on timely basis. Ensure that these are timely updated after receiving feedback from competent forums;3. Drives adherence of process, standards and policies within the team. Assists team members to understand the importance and impact of processes, standards & policies;4. Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments and setting priorities and timely request to the NPCC for the approved shutdowns;5. Issues guideline, schedules and authorization for the preventive and emergency maintenance programs, and carries out frequent inspection to ensure compliance by the relevant team;6. Ensure tools, material and human resources capability and availability for the execution of maintenance work; 7. Issue and cancel permit to work and safety permits and ensure compliance with health and safety measures in line with approved policies and applicable regulations;8. Review and validate data pertaining to faults, defects and failures;9. Finalize monthly variance analysis report with approved Asset Management Plan, approved monthly budget and procurement plans along with justifications for negative variances. Present the variance analysis report to Manager for review and approval;10. Carry out assessment and timely reporting of frequent line tripping event and abnormal incidents at lines to Manager;11. Review Transmission Line Patrolling Reports;Ensure the accuracy and completeness of recordings of all asset updates in Asset Management Data Store;13. Review and finalize Transmission Line Performance Report on monthly basis providing a comparative statement of desired results/ targets with actual results and present the same to Manager in monthly meeting.

 Testing of Grid Station Electrical Equipments i.e. Power/Auto Transformer, Current Transformer, Potential Transformer, Isoltaors, Surge Arrestors, Batteries etc General Maintenance of the Grid Station, Elaboration, Supervision and Management of Shutdowns, Supervision & Monitoring of work during Breakdown of the System, Different Field Testing of the Grid Equipment including Oil & SF6 Tests Operations of Electrical Equipment, Different Studies of Bus Bar Schemes Compiling the Switching & Annual Maintenance Schedules and supervising their implementation Assisting the Grid Station Operations and Maintenance Section Head in the preparation of the annual budget & price control relating to maintenance expenses Analyzing the information collected related to the daily operations and Maintenance function to minimize outages and incidents and providing feedback where necessary Supervising the corrective measures for all areas as indicated by the Grid Station Operations and Maintenance Section Head or during the course of their own routine inspections  Advising/supporting where necessary the Grid Station Operations & Maintenance Engineers and Technicians in relation to day to day work and smooth running of the Grid Stations Provides technical support to both LDC and Strategic Projects & Planning Assisting in the commissioning of new projects and all equipment related to Operations and Maintenance section Following and setting the standard for all OETC health, safety and environmental policies to ensure a safe way of working  Supervises the receipt and cancellation of PTW,LOA and ensuring all work takes place only with the relevant safety documents issued Sharing skills and experience with colleagues and supporting the development of others through coaching where possible
