As a Senior Account Payable, I am responsible for processing invoices, expenditures, freight, brokerage and overseas invoices. I resolves any discrepancies before making payments. Payments are processed within the established time limits, giving extra attention to discount invoices. I respond to vendors inquiries in a timely professional manner. I also, file monthly GST/QST/HST taxes. I make sure vendor statements are reconciled as they arrive. This will benefit at year-end when reports for the auditors are prepared. I set-up and maintain vendor files making sure they have valid tax numbers. I also, have experience in costing of merchandise.
