Hatem Amer's career spans over 12 years with experience in healthcare and foreign relations. As the Associate Minister of Health & Population for International Relations, he oversees all international relations dossiers, and spearheads private-public partnerships globally.He holds several positions as well, including Coordinator of the Technical Secretariat of the National Coordinating Committee for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption & Rapporteur of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy Implementation Committee in the Ministry. He is also a member of the National Human Rights Committee, representing the Ministry.His extensive background includes serving as the Foreign Relations Manager in the Minister's Technical Bureau, where he organized international conferences and represented Egypt at key WHO assemblies. His tenure as Foreign Relations Coordinator saw him managing significant initiatives like the “Presidential Initiative to Treat 1 Million Africans from HCV” and representing Egypt in high-level global events, including the 74th & 78th UN General Assemblies.Hatem's career began in public health, focusing on infectious disease monitoring and vaccination programs, and he has experience as a community pharmacist. His educational qualifications are diverse, holding degrees in pharmacy, biotechnology, and law, complemented by postgraduate medical education from Harvard Medical School. He is multilingual, with fluency in Arabic, English, and French, and basic proficiency in Spanish and German.A recognized speaker and writer, Hatem has delivered speeches at prestigious forums like a TEDx event, as well as writing & presenting the valedictorian speech of the NTA at the WYF 2022.He has also received numerous awards and distinctions and was a participant in the US State Department's prestigious International Visitors Leadership Program.Equally important to his professional commitments, Hatem is committed to community service and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.
