Hatem Arafa is a master calligraphy artist and graphic designer, He moved to Turkey in 2014 in order to go deeper on an academic level studying traditional Islamic arts, Hatem presents courses of Arabic calligraphy and Islamic decorations. He was featured in many exhibitions and projects worldwide.known for:* Traditional Arabic calligraphy: Where he work on several scripts, including Al-Diwani, Jeli Al-Diwani, Al-Thuluth and Jeli Al-Thuluth, in addition to the Kufi script.* Modern designs (contemporary): He has his own style of illustrating the concept of design content through the formation of its external appearance.* He designed the latest logo of the Assassin's Creed video game (Mirage) Using The Calligraphy Art, plus the interior calligraphy artworks in the game, revealed in Sep 2022.* He participated in the designs of the commemorative legal tender coins for Qatar World Cup 2022, where he designed the calligraphy art that been used in 8 silver coins of them, revealed in Nov 2022.* for 2 years he worked on the Calligraphy artworks inside the new Cary Mosque, NC, USA, including the decoration calligraphy under the dome of the mosque, finished in Sep 2022.* He designed the Arabic calligraphy and ornaments of one of the Christophe Claret watches, revealed in 2021
