I am currently seeking full-time staff opportunities that will allow me to use my creative, marketing and conceptual talents to their fullest. Meanwhile, I am continuing to work on my "side hustle", Hatfield Creative Services. As a seasoned, multidisciplinary communication professional my primary goal is to provide the highest quality work possible, delivered on time and on budget. With a strict attention to detail, and an editorial eye, I strive to ensure that every project that I work on is conceptually, creatively and strategically the best it can be.The majority of my experience comes from working on-site in the creative departments of some of the top promotional marketing agencies in the CT/NY Metro area. While on-site, I have worked in a variety of different capacities - Art Director, Senior Art Director, Associate Creative Director, Designer, Illustrator, Photo Retoucher, Comp Artist and Production Artist. I am as comfortable working independently, as I am leading a full creative team. I have extensive experience working in the areas of POP, package design, direct mail, shopper marketing, food service, liquor/beer category, independent label, channel marketing, trade marketing, event marketing, etc. Many of the promotions that I’ve helped create have provided me with experience working with some of the biggest brand properties in the world - MLB, NFL, Walmart, Target, NASCAR, MTV, FIFA, eBay, Sports Illustrated, NHL, NBA, FOX, TBS, A&E, HBO, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Pixar, X-Game, etc. All of this experience has enabled me to adapt quickly to differing brand guidelines, challenging project requirements and ever-changing deadlines.Specialties:I specialize in concept development, graphic design, illustration and high-res photo retouching. I have a deep passion for designing with type, creating logos, brainstorming creative concepts, developing brand identities and marketing strategies. I can also render tight pencil comps for concept sketches. I have excellent communication skills, and can also write copy and headlines when needed. In addition to an expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, I can create dynamic and professional presentations with Apple’s Keynote software, and have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.I have done extensive work designing and formatting digital layouts for social media, web banners, email blasts, as well as create small business websites using basic site creator apps such as Wix, WordPress, BlueHost, Constant Contact, Squarespace, etc.

Ceo/Creative Director (Volunteer)The Kidnetic Clubhouse, Inc. 2012 - 2016Shelton, CtThe Kidnetic Clubhouse was founded in 2012 as an emerging children’s museum in the lower Naugatuck Valley area. The goal was to create a destination where children and adults could learn, play and engage with each other in a fun, safe and creative environment. After successfully establishing the 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, I took a lead role in every aspect of its overall development. I managed all of the budgets, marketing, event organization, exhibit design, organizational documents, board members, site planning and assisted in a multitude of other responsibilities. While significant progress was made over the course of several years, a sustained lack of volunteer and community support prevented The Kidnetic Clubhouse from meeting key financial and developmental goals. Unfortunately, the organization was forced to cease all operations in 2016. -
