While at Rowan Companies, I was recognized for providing leadership that deeply understood the business, cemented strong relationships with business leaders across the organization, and elicited top performance from staff. Held full SEC financial reporting responsibility and external audit management (Deloitte)As the company evolved and shifted gears, I played a key contributor role in the organization’s rapid international growth along with supporting its transition into a pure-play offshore drilling contractor in 2011, successfully entering the deep water drilling business in 2014, where I oversaw the accounting for $3B of capital expenditures for 4 ultra-deep water drill ships. While in this role, I was involved in the decision-making process for mergers, acquisitions and divestures, executing to plan on rigorous requirements and aggressive timelines to ensure the success of these transactions.
