RESPONSIBILITIES: Playing a lead role in managing export/import operations in Karachi and Gujranwala, market since last 10 years in the recyclables industry on different metals trading commodities. Buys and sells recyclables metals scraps mainly (Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass, HMS, LMS, Shredded, AL Tense etc) as per the demands and requirements from our Head Office. Manage and support shipping and logistics to successfully facilitate transactions with our suppliers / buyers. Works closely with our trade partners to secure long-term reoccurring contacts and materials price based on the current LME and local market information’s. Develop sources of raw material, new suppliers/buyers and creates new opportunities in business. Manage settling claims or arbitration works with our trade partners to resolve conflicts finically in a timely and proficient manner. Proficient in performing quality control checks thru usage of analyzers, radiation equipment on an inspections of scrap stocks lying at yard and during containerized loadings of material. Independently handled Pakistan procurement office of all functions and work constructively with our Dubai office team for our regular supplies of materials. Regularly manage LME price fixations, margin calls and strictly controls with our suppliers for timely fixations and shipments on LME prices.

RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and closely supervise Heavy Fuel Oil receipt at plant and apprised report on daily meeting for updating the Fuel inventory. Reporting of lubricants and chemicals IN and OUT movement on weekly basis. Regular correspondence and liaison with PSO (IC&PP) Department for Fuel supply at plant and other issues concern with fuel supply agreement (FSA). Plan and administrate Inventory of all spare parts, chemicals and lubricants at plant. Handle logistics and administrative issues of the department. Work closely with Commercial Department about Supply positions and delivery status of materials to improve operations and reduce cost.  Maintaining of all records in a good condition and ensure safety and easy identification and location of all stock items with proper racking systems.  Manage and closely supervise the disposal of Scrap material and other redundant items on regular basis. Ensure and monitor the serviceability of the unloading stations and weighbridge. Prepare yearly budgeted requirements for the materials department. Carry out Audit exercise of the stock items at the end of financial year  Appraising immediate superior of possible anomalies or of technical emergencies, taking immediate corrective measures if required. Propose training and development of materials department staff for their growth. Prepare staff appraisal report at the end of financial year.
