Last Summer I completed a 6 week internship in the Financial Services division of the Audit Department in Deloitte. During my time there, I was fortunate to work alongside teams in both the Audit and Marketing departments.In the Audit Department, my duties involved basic accountancy and auditing, clerical and administration responsibilities. I also took the initiative to further develop my knowledge and skills, through the completion of several Global Competency e-Learning courses, including a Harvard Certificate in Process Improvements.I also spent two of my weeks here in the Marketing department as this is one of my keen interests in college alongside accounting. They really challenged my communication and interpersonal skills during my time here, I worked at many global Deloitte events in the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge. I met and conversed with many global business experts and managed to gain invaluable experience listening to their presentations and interacting with them throughout the events.
