Train driver turned software developer working at SJ AB in a team managing an internal application for our train drivers. Here, I get the perfect mix between computer science and the railway industry where I benefit from my years of driving trains. I still get to drive trains, albeit fairly seldom. This means I am a regular end user of the application we are working with, very inspirational!I completed my bachelor's degree in computer science at Malmö University in June, 2024. After my graduation, I switched from driving trains (which I had done since 2018), to being a software engineer at the same company.I graduated from vocational train driver education at Trafikverksskolan (Swedish Transport Administration Academy) in 2016 and have been operating trains full time up until my university studies. My first job was at Transdev Sverige AB where I worked for two years with Öresundståg. In August 2018, I started working at SJ AB, stationed in Malmö. I have a deep and strong interest in classical music and spend a considerable part of my free time with classical music as a trombonist and euphonium player. I've always had an interest in voluntary association work and have served continuously on various boards since 2012. I've held roles such as secretary, treasurer, and vice chair - mostly in music organizations such as wind bands and orchestras.
