algoleague is a competitive programming platform where algorithm enthusiasts of all levels practice their algorithmic thinking skills and compete in contests both in teams and individually. As the product manager the platform, my responsibilities are to decide on features and future steps in collaboration with engineering and design team. — From strategy to product to process improvements, I take part in every step of the journey including conceptualizing, launching by monitoring feature implementations, and iterating. Since September 2021, we have successfully published 60+ wireframes on algoleague and held over 25 contests…In conclusion, I am responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams and managing inter-project dependencies and communication between the software team and customers by developing a strategic roadmap. During the life-cycle of the project, I take data-driven decisions by analyzing system requirements and implementing bug fix processes, as well as receiving live feedback from the users by testing their experiences and developing search-related products.

inzva is a sanctuary of the Turkish Hacker Community. As an independent non-profit entity, it provides a neutral umbrella for all Turkish computer science enthusiasts.While offering a quiet, peaceful and inspiring environment to work and socialize, we hold algorithm camps, study groups, and informative talks.My main responsibilities in inzva are to design programs, camps, national and international contests, and algorithm programs locally held in the universities by our partner student chapters. Also, I lead the Algorithm team in every aspect related to the algorithm programs, camps, etc. and overview all the necessary steps to evaluate the best options for the participants’ improvement.

inekle, is a non-profit online education platform that operates 7/24 in Turkey. The platform's main goal is to try to ensure equality in education nationwide. In addition, inekle is a social responsibility project, which supports university students by giving them an opportunity to earn scholarship through online tutoring other students while they are preparing for their exams. As of 2013, inekle is supported by BEV.Foundation.I worked at inekle from 2013 to 2019. My initial responsibility was to teach math, geography, physics, chemistry, etc. as an online tutor and help to develop the platform by bringing in fresh ideas. After I completed my last year at university in 2016, I became a part of the inekle team as a full-time administrative director. I was responsible for the management of the whole system; including community-building and continuously developing and designing the platform together with the software team.Since 2019, I have been working in inzva, which is a computer science-focused project supported by BEV. Foundation.

Empatik Human Resources company has a social responsibility project, named StajOkulu, which has been held since 2010 by the company to provide internships to university students of computer science departments, who are obliged to complete compulsory internships to graduate. This project aims to provide university students with a different perspective about the IT world and introduce them to the IT community for networking and mentorship. For a period of 30 working days, I joined many different sessions covering various aspects of the IT and computer science worlds, both in regard to academia and industry. The project included sessions designed to improve the students from many angles and give them an opportunity to increase their management and technical skills with classes focusing on topics including preparing presentations and cover letters, the ways to initiate a start-up project or to develop an application and new technologies as well as learning technical information related to data science and programming such as PLSQL, C#, FileMaker. Staj Okulu’s aims to provide a new point of view to the participants so that they can learn more than classes offered in the universities and meet people in the industry who work at different departments.
