Working in the margin lending arm of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, key accountabilities included managing a small team of professionals to undertake risk monitoring and analysis identify risks and instigate risk management and mitigation. The team was also responsible for undertaking identification and management of loss events; liaising with key stakeholders coordinating appropriate treatment activities within a Risk Management Framework; and ensuring full business compliance with banking and third party regulatory bodies.Key achievements included: completion of a full risk register including a matrix identifying possible risks and instigating the appropriate controls and set up and maintenance of a Business Continuity Plan capturing key personnel, systems and record management across the business.

Accountabilities included: system and IT user access regulation and compliance; oversight and adaptation of policies and procedures to improve performance and systemisation; internal reconciliation and reporting to Senior Management and liaison with Credit Risk; and internal document control and record management.Key achievements included: maintaining regulatory compliance during the June period each year - leading to the end of the Financial Year and meeting all specified measurements and business requirements during the GFC in 2008.
