Studying Finance and Real Estate at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, I strive to increase my leadership, public speaking, and critical thinking skills. My skillset has been created through my ability as a public speaker, adaptable team member, and my risk tolerance.Public Speaking - Through my experience in DECA throughout high school, I frequently gave presentations of my group’s research findings, and confidently presented proposals and plans to business professionals on how to improve their business. Adaptable Team Member - Throughout both of my jobs I was a part of a high functioning team that worked daily to serve and please our customers. I often learned new skills not required by my position, whether this meant helping out in the kitchen or learning how to check and stock inventory, in order to assist the needs of the team.Empathetic Leader – Reading people is a skill of mine I use to manage teams better. As a leader, it is important to know your team’s strengths and weaknesses in order to achieve a high level of success which is what I did while leading my DECA team senior year.
