-Support legacy 2 stroke diesel engines with retooling and reverse engineering of historical designs, with design modifications as required to support selected manufacturing methods-Manage and coordinate supplier changes and issue resolution for current production parts

-Design engineering lead for electrification program of Ford H567 F-650 platform, with responsibility for design and validation of all hardware.-Design of gear-driven supercharger for use on opposed-piston opposed-cylinder engine for defense application with specific focus on bypass valve and actuating subsystem-Component and subsystem integration of EV and diesel-powered powertrain hardware into different existing low-floor transit bus chassis (2 BEV, 1 series hybrid) to demonstrate feasibility and system performance testing -Integration of high-voltage battery & charging system, diesel aftertreatment, and air induction hardware -Feasibility study to implement DC fast-charging supplemental to plug-in AC charging-Engineering lead and program management support for 2020MY Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 supercharger assembly from program start to initial production-intent prototype testing ( phase in Ford GPDS) -Responsible for hardware packaging, component design, system interfaces, and manufacturability for all components within the supercharger assembly

-Design & release activities of core engine components (crankshaft, crankshaft damper, piston & connecting rod assembly, journal bearings and oil seal) and active muffler assembly for 2016 Ford Shelby GT350/GT350R Mustang program -Internal responsibilities included design oversight and selection, design analysis, testing supervision and sign-off and launch support at both the engine and vehicle assembly plants -External responsibilities with suppliers included design analysis to ensure cost-effective manufacturability of components, commercial negotiations, program management to meet program timing and quality control documentation -Program pioneered multiple technologies within Ford including active dual-mode exhaust system and “Gen. II” PTFE main journal oil seal architecture-Created layouts, managed fabrication, designed experiments and ran testing of several experimental test stands to evaluate prospective technologies for in-vehicle energy recovery, energy storage and waste heat rejection-Conducted and supervised testing of diesel aftertreatment hardware to validate production designs and to evaluate prospective designs for meeting EPA emissions requirements-Designed and released fuel system components for liquid propane autogas (LPG) conversion kits along with support of customer retrofits and creation of end-user and service documentation-Designed new components and sourced production components for a powertrain demonstration vehicle to integrate a new diesel powertrain into a heavy-duty emergency response vehicle platform

-Created and maintained documentation needed for final inspection of machined components-Created electronic annotation database used for noting product drawings-Tracked product changes between drawing versions and communicated changes to program managers
