Joining the newly appointed Cyber Security solution area from day one, I helped to create and establish a diverse team of Cyber Security Solution Architects. I lead the Cyber Security Customer Success Practice for the UK. In this role I tried something completely new and led the Modern Work and Security Product Marketing team at Microsoft, with line manager responsibility and accountability to the CyberSec go-to-market strategy and business performance in the UK. My core accountability was to lead the Microsoft UK go-to-market strategy for Cyber Security, Compliance and Identity. In this role I also had the duel responsibility of leading the UK Accessibility (D&I) go-to-market strategy and acted as the Accessibility Programme Lead. I led the creation and execution of the Financial Year 2020/21 Security go-to-market plan across sales, consumption, marketing and partner. Owning our business reporting into Corporate. This resulted in a significant increase in the markets perception of Microsoft as a security vendor, achieving number one share of voice, and our business performance key metrics on E5 and Azure Security workloads. I also lead the creation of the Financial Year 2021/22 Security go-to-market plan before joining the customer success team.

I led a team of Technical Account / Customer Success Managers (TAMs/CSMs) and Account Delivery Executives (ADEs) within the UK Public Sector Services team. I focused on the Local Government, Education and Health sectors leading across a portfolio of 130 Premier support customers, 34 strategic customers and 12 active transformational programmes of work. I was responsible for building, enabling and leading a world-class services delivery practice. Day to day I led a team of TAM/CSMss and ADEs to achieve world class services planning and delivery within their customer portfolios. Ensuring services agreements were achieved, consultancy engagements were successful and customer satisfaction was exemplary. I enabled Microsoft customers to achieve the greatest ROI on their services investment across a $30m delivery portfolio, realising their potential in a digitally transforming world.

I was accountable for the customer experience of Microsoft’s collaboration technology field services (O365 SharePoint, SharePoint Server and Project Server).In addition I also served as the EMEA SharePoint Proactive Services lead, I led managers in other subsidiaries to deliver against their customer outcomes. I partnered with offshore support teams to ensure a world-class support experience.I established the O365 SharePoint Online support model for our Premier customers in EMEA and was accountable for creating a world-class support journey, through excellent support experiences, engineer capability, onsite services delivery and product group collaboration.

In this role I was a security technology expert, the EMEA security tech lead and the EMEA lead for the Principal Premier Field Engineer community. My role was to develop and deliver world-class proactive support services across the EMEA region and enable others to become experts.My core accountabilities included:• Developing proactive and reusable support services, including PKI and security health checks and workshops for Premier customers.• Enabling others to become experts through delivering training and mentoring peers.• Creating and leading the UK PFE business plan, and partnering with the EMEA Tech Manager to create and lead the EMEA security technology plan.

Starting on the IT help desk I moved into the newly formed Microsoft consulting practice at Getronics, attaining my MCSE NT4.0 with further specialisation around Networking Monitoring (HP OpenView and ManageX) on Microsoft platforms.
