V. Hawley Smith, III is a Principal with H. Smith, Inc. His experience is in residential real estate development for over 8 years and previously in Pastoral Church Ministry. He is licensed in the State of Florida as a real estate sales agent for VHS Realty. He has been appointed('22-) by the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners to serve as a board member for the Land Acquisition and Management Program (LAMP). Hawley has been active in the Northeast Florida Builder’s Association (NEFBA) as Chair of the Industry Issues Fund('23-), with the Governmental Affairs Committee, and as a steering committee member and graduate of the Emerging Leaders Program (’20). He serves as an elder('23-) at Mandarin Presbyterian Church volunteering, serving on committees, and leading a family group. He coaches his children’s i9 and Upward sports teams and volunteers with several non‐profit organizations. As a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary, Hawley is an Ordained Minister. He also graduated from the College of William and Mary('06) and was captain of the Men’s Basketball Team. Hawley is most proud of his family, his wife and four children.
