How many different selves do you think live within you? I have always been fascinated by how my “writer self” can differ from my “daughter self,” “lover,” “sister,” “colleague” or a “friend”. Yet somehow, they all come together to shape me, ground me, and set me uniquely apart.This intersection of identities has always been my number one interest, and now I get to explore it more in my job with Jasadyat. Here, my writer, researcher, feminist, Arab, woman, and strategist selves come together to produce knowledge aimed at helping Arab women achieve healthier sexual lives—first with themselves, and then with others.Through over 4 years of experience, I led content strategies, fervently believing in the transformative power of authentic and intersectional content. My work centered on leveraging impactful storytelling to drive meaningful change across diverse industries.
