• Working with Dr. Box on Conversational Analysis from various educational sources• Analyzing corpus linguistic data to find details of educational value• Assisting in educational consultation focusing on providing high quality ESL materials to various organizations

• Working with Dr. Kerry looking at the effect of world beliefs on acculturation and well-being in Chinatown• In charge of translation of Primals Inventory and other surveys into Mandarin Chinese • Managing cooperation between UPenn and Chinatown organizations to acquire research data

• Started program to provide free ESL education to adult immigrants and refugees in Chinatown• Recruited other members of the UPenn community to contribute to the program• Worked on teaching students’ skills vital for navigating a new country
