My College Pro Management Internship gave me the opportunity to own and operate my own business in a safe environment where I was coached and developed. I got to benefit from the College Pro brand that had already been established, as a franchisee. Through my franchise agreement, I was able to operate in 3 specific zip codes, spanning across North Idaho. Duties during the second semester of Sophomore year include: Commuting Post Falls, Hayden, & Coeur'D Alene from Moscow, Idaho 2-4 Times a week to:-Market my business to generate leads-Estimating, and bidding projects-Close sales with customers-Interview, hire, train my own team of marketers who independently generated leads-Interview, hire, train painters to complete projects -Have weekly goal setting and review meeting to contribute to their successDuring summer my Duties include:Interviewing and hiring job site managers for crews, as well as painters.Building each crew to a team, and training them to have ownership of their work-Projecting future expenses-Managing operations of up to 6 crews working independently-Safety and quality inspections on every project-Ensuring high quality customer service, problem solving any issues.-Training and actively coaching all employeesI completed 29 exterior residential painting projects, totaling $110,467 in sales.Owning and operating my own business gave me a taste of what it's like to have the success, brand image, reputation and total profit of a business depend solely on myself.Below are some pictures of a few of the projects my company completed.

Owned and operated my first small business venture with my twin brother. Served the greater Ventura County area in handyman work and odd jobs. We were willing to do almost anything besides painting and mending fences for $10/hr. Got my first taste of entrepreneurship here and fell in love with it.
