Was a part of the Walt Disney Company with the Disney College Program Internship and worked in Park Operations in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Rise of the Resistance. A highly immersive and interactive trackless dark ride that allows guests to join the Resistance and help fight the First Order. A safety critical position which required certifications to handle and operate heavy machinery in a safe yet efficient manner.Demonstrated excellent guest service when interacting with guests, often answering any questions asked by our guests and handling any issues as well as going above and beyond to make sure that the guests have a great trip. Helped immerse the guests in the universe of Galaxy’s Edge by integrating improv with knowledge of the Star Wars Universe allowing myself to be a “real person” in that world.

Functioned as a practical mentor and guide to younger peers, in a STEM oriented program based around recreating the training NASA astronauts themselves complete prior to launch.Taught peers and students valuable lessons regarding space, the natural world, and the space program’s history and core values.Dedicated to the maintaining of a safe and fun environment for the peers watched over at the program. Stuck to organizations regulations, while finding ways for safe and learning aligned fun.While not the primary goal of the job, it was important to create an honest and open report with the peers. Often got on their level, speaking to them much more like a friendly, than down to like an authoritative figure. Put safety, happiness, and emotional well being of those in the care of the program first, always.Left properly and on good terms with the organization, due to the completion of the summer program.
