United Urology Group is a management services organization (MSO) focused on the urology and broader men’s health marketplace. The organization represents over 250 providers across four practices: Chesapeake Urology, Colorado Urology, Arizona Urology Specialists and Tennessee Urology.- Physician Practice Acquisitions (7): Alongside the CEO and Board, led the acquisition of seven practice affiliates in Knoxville (1), Denver (3), Phoenix (1) and Tucson (2). Following those acquisitions, served a primary point of contact & leader to physicians and regional COOs on matters ranging from operations to corporate governance.- ASC Joint Ventures (3): From initial thought leadership to integration, led the joint ventures with United Surgical Partners International (USPI) in the states of MD, CO and AZ as well as the joint venture with Tucson Medical Center (TMC) & Community Health Systems (CHS) in AZ.- Cancer Center Acquisitions (3): Acquired and integrated three standalone cancer centers in CO, AZ & MD. All three Centers became wholly-owned divisions of United’s practice affiliates and focused strictly on prostate & bladder cancer treatments.- Payor Contracting: Oversaw the payor contracting department beginning in 2021. Created considerable value in the renegotiation of the major commercial carriers as well as consolidation of multiple TaxIDs. - Physician Recruitment: Beginning in 2020, led the overhaul of the organization’s processes, culture and pipeline around physician recruitment. With the Director of Physician Liaisons, transitioned this department out of Human Resources into its own functional group and led a team dedicated to provider recruitment and retention.
