Providing earthworks, waste management, enabling and remediation projects for MML Group companies. This inlcudes the project preperation and planning from the tender handover stage throughout the implementaton and completion stages. Other duties include roles within the senior management team to achieve management goals and persist in improvements to the exisiting management systems. This includes carrying out and reporting internal audits, submission and maintainance of SSIP H&S accreditations and policy review.

The roles that I am involved in span across areas of admin, sales, project management as well as health and safety. As part of the construction industry, we are required to obtain the relevant accreditations for the works in which we carry out. Additionally, we hold ISO14001, ISO9001 and OH&S18001 accreditations. These all require maintenance and auditing to ensure the continued registration with our accreditations. My role as ISO Manager is to ensure that regular internal audits on all accreditations are being conducted and liaise with external auditors and third parties for continued accreditation. My health and safety role within the company is to create all the necessary documents required for conducting work on site and post-works. This usually involves method statements and risk assessments for works as well as Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan and Site Waste Management Plan for Principal Contractor roles. End of works reports detailing the health and safety aspects and paperworks are often required for the site health and safety file- it is my role to check and prepare any documents to fulfil this. Working as part of a sales team, we work together to provide services in demolition, land remediation, waste management and aggregate supply. I also take on a project management role. This involves site visits to ensure work is being carried out efficiently and to resolve any issues that may occur during the process of the works.

The main roles which I carried out involved assisting engineers on various building design projects. This largely involved creating and filling spreadsheets, researching equipment and learning how to use the thermal modelling software. One project which I managed was working in a small team to gain accreditation for the Environmental Management System, which I chiefly wrote for the company. Time management was a key skill necessary for this job, in order to complete tasks on multiple projects on time and to a high standard.

A major role of this job was to be a representative of Dominoes Pizza for the customers and the public. Another role was often to be the communication between customers and the managers in case of any errors. In order to resolve these quickly, good communication skills were necessary. Teamwork was also important in order to achieve the high standard of delivery times.

Representing both QRS Market Research and the client from whom the research was commissioned, in talking through questionnaires with customers efficiently and accurately whilst maintaining a level of understanding and professionalism at all times. Occasionally asked to provide feedback on questionnaires in design. Communication was a key skills necessary to fulfill the quotas needed on the projects.
