Since commencing in the electronic security integration industry in 1999, there has been a huge transformation and development of the technology available for deployment and the infrastructure to deploy it upon. I pride myself on understanding security technology and how this can be best applied in my customers' settings and operating environment.I have had a great grounding in best practice installation, contract management, and large scale deployments, and have coupled this with the world recognised theory delivered through the ASIS certification programs regarding physical security design and security management. In addition to security solution design, I am actively involved in business management. This has included sales management, general management and regional management roles. Understanding core business functions also aids in appreciating business risk and how to best protect this through the solutions we offer, as well as providing solutions that add value to a business to help with the upsides, such as marketing data like conversion rate metrics.I actively work across most industry sectors, but provide specialisation in:- High security environments, such as Defence- Loss prevention in the retail sector- Government sector (PSR application)- Corporate security (multi-site deployments and standardisation)- Enterprise security - significant involvement with multi-national companies undertaking deployments in NZ and providing solutions that conform to global standards, but also meet local NZ standards.
