At the end of the day, my job involves people and problem-solving. We're complicated, we're always changing, tastes, preferences, and styles. I want to understand how people change, how to best fit their current wants and needs, and how to best solve their current problems.That, to me, is what graphic design is. Visual Problem Solving. And I love solving puzzles. I am grateful to have the opportunity to problem solve with companies such as Banner Health, Cigna, Arizona State University, AHCCS, Talking Stick Resort, Giving Tree, and more unique companies. Being able to problem solve for companies large and small has been an amazing growth and learning experience. In my free time, you might find me: hiking, playing pick-up soccer, struggling to learn the bass guitar, listening to audiobooks and podcasts about history, political science, and economics, or playing video and tabletop games with friends! This included tasks such as conceptualizing designs, creating ad copy and visual assets and collaborating with team members to bring campaigns to life. I also had the opportunity to work closely with clients to ensure their needs and expectations were met.One of my proudest moments at RIESTER was when I led the design for a successful social media campaign for a major mental health organization AHCCCS. I worked closely with the client to understand their target audience and developed a series of eye-catching graphics and compelling ad copy. The campaign ultimately exceeded our client's goals and was a great example of the impact that strong design can have on the success of a marketing campaign.I also had the opportunity to work closely with the video production team. I observed several shoots and helped set up and break down on days of video shoots.Overall, my time at RIESTER was a fantastic learning experience and I feel grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented and driven team. -
