Software Engineer with a background in retail and customer service building with JavaScript | Python | Node.js | Redux | SQL | FlaskI started out working various jobs in Food service such as Chipotle and Paris Baguette, before ending up at CoreTCG where I was able to do work more aligned with one of my hobbies in Trading Card Games. After a few years I realized, retail was ultimately not my passion and two years ago I began my journey into learning how to become a Software engineer. I'm an upcoming appAcademy graduate and a Shift Supervisor at CoreTCG looking to develop my skills in coding. My aim is to bring a focus on communicaton, critical thinking, and organization to a team that will challenge me and allow me to polish my skills. I'm ambitious and focused on my goal to further my career and become a valuable asset to a team thats willing to take me on. I have experience with Javascript, Python, React, Redux, SQLite and a few other technologies through appAcademy that I've used to create a variety of programs and mock websites. I'm always looking to develop existing skills and learn new ones.When I'm not focused on debugging, I'm still playing Pokemon TCG at a competitive level and a little more casual about games like One Piece TCG, Magic the Gathering, and the Digimon TCG. I'm also working as a forever GM to my groups of friends as we play D&D (among other TTRPGs). I have a lot of interest in fantasy world building and the mechanics of game systems.
