I am currently a police officer at City of Mesquite, Nevada, with over six years of law enforcement experience between North Las Vegas and Mesquite. I have an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Eastern Gateway Community College, where I graduated cum laude. I also attended Dixie State University for general studies while playing college football on scholarship. My core competencies include emergency services, community engagement, and investigations.In my current role, I serve as an officer in charge, a field training officer, and a member of the special response team. I work with my colleagues to ensure public safety, prevent crime, and enforce laws. I also train and mentor my peers, and respond to high-risk situations that require specialized skills and tactics. I am motivated by my passion for serving and protecting my community, and I value teamwork, integrity, and professionalism. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have received multiple honors for my courage and dedication, including the Medal of Valor for assisting the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the citizens during the mass shooting of Route 91.
