Possible summary:As a law graduate from Al Iraqia University, I have a strong interest and background in commercial dispute resolution and international arbitration. I joined UNDP Iraq as a Commercial Dispute Resolution Analyst in Dec 2023, after completing a five-month volunteer assignment to support the International Law for COP28 project.In my current role, I conduct legal research and analysis, prepare reports and presentations, engage with stakeholders, and assist with project management and event support. I have developed and applied skills in legal writing, contractual agreements, and legal service, as well as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. I am passionate about contributing to the rule of law, access to justice, and sustainable development in Iraq and the region. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I speak Arabic, English, and Kurdish, and have participated in multiple international arbitration moot competitions.
