MSc Automation and Control

1- Successfully managed electrical engineering aspects of infrastructure projects. Provided consultancy regarding feasibility studies, and SWOT analysis related to designs and alternative solutions as per area circumstances and available budgets. Improved projects delivery by scheduling site implementations, influenced design and procurement activities, controlled risk and risk assessment; for: 1.1- Rumaila Supply Base projects which were consisted of 3.6 MW power generation plant and distribution system, these integrated with the national grid and emergency backup solutions, with control and monitoring systems including 6.6kV switchgears and 7 MV/LV transformers, SCADA, HMI, and synchronise panels for: 12 buildings, Rumaila Waste Centre, and the RSB IT&C 60m Tower and Data Centre with all related facilities such as water treatment plant, fuel station and overhead cranes. 1.2-Rumaila field facilities and infrastructure development across 28 packages for the major projects. These included: eight degassing stations, totally rehabilitation of five cluster pumps, warehouses, workshops, and offices for Qarmat Ali Water Treatment Plant, power generation and distribution systems for two major Access Control Points in Southern Rumaila, instrumentation and electronic security systems of Access Control buildings for Rumaila headquarter and three degassing stations, two accommodation blocks for 60+ Basra Oil Company staff, and 1800 square meter warehouse in Northern Rumaila. 2-Managed Infrastructure facilities for instrumentation, sensors, and electronic security system along 10 km of perimeter wall CCTV and lighting at Rumaila headquarter and RSB. 3- Prepared technical documentation for operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial systems. 4- Mentored junior engineers and new hires to improve their competency.

• Successfully introduced a new design approach for infrastructure electrical project; reduced the cost of material and implementation, saved 35% from the original budget. • Supervised site electrical construction activities and led the project to the commissioning stage by completing the installation of the electrical power supplying system, lighting, grounding and lightning systems for accommodation, utilities, workshops, and warehouse facilities based on a 1.25 million square meters area. • Team member of developing the Infrastructure for Electronic Security System, and Information and communications technologies.

• Wrote Itisaluna Base Transceiver Station (BTS) standard book as a reference for all BTS's installation works implementing the company team or contractors in Iraq. • Managed and overall responsibility through to the commissioning and delivery of 50 CDMA base stations and core centre in southern Iraq.

Led staff and sub-contractor for Huawei to assemble, install and commission of two GSM and CDMA communication core networks in southern Iraq, both hardware assembling and software configuration.

Supervised the Construction, Installation and commissioning of 25 CDMA Base stations included installation and quality assurance of electrical generation and distribution system.

1- BSS and MW installation supervisor2- c. Installation of (3)MW- NEC- SDH Links which transmit the control signal to main international oil export gates to South Oil Company in FAO city, both assembling hardware and programming software to devises.
