I presented financial guidance to the president and other senior managers with respect to financial aspects of all business areas. Furthermore, I led and supervised an accounting staff of two members. I was accountable for proper development of economic & statistical information and analysis of forecasting trends, volume, costs, prices, profits, taxes, and financial position with respect to past, present, and future business operations. I was also responsible for cash flow management of the company and preparation & oversight of all cost proposals & contract administration. Furthermore, I administered company's debt limitation, debt retirement, and company line-of-credit. Successfully removed the company from the factoring of its receivables to obtaining a Line-of-Credit facility with Suntrust bank through the use of my Cash Management strategies. Recovered over $500K in close out funds from expired contracts. I was able to achieve a target profit of 8% for the company by minimizing all overhead cost and treating each direct resource as a mini income statement.
