Marblegate Farms is a new venue that hosts weddings and company events. As staff, our job is to assist in parking cars, set up and break down the events, and be prepared for any sudden changes. One of the main goals is to make sure everything goes smoothly and we are as generous and supportive as possible. Marblegate is a family owned property with right at 250 acres of land. There was a lot of maintaining the property and multitasking different jobs daily and weekly to make sure everything looks great for weddings on the weekend or company events during the week.

I worked very early mornings and sometimes into the later afternoons working on the golf course. While I was there I multitasked many different jobs daily and weekly. During the fall, summer, and spring there was not many off weekends. There was a long stretch of time without a day off. It was a grind but I enjoyed it and the people there.
