At the age of 10 I started performing, whether it was acting, singing or dancing I loved them all. When I was 16 I decided to study Musical Theatre at North London Dance Studio. After finishing my studies, I was lucky enough to have a career in show business for 5 years, which gave me the opportunity to perform across Italy, Spain and in London. My claim to fame is that when I was 16, I was in an advert for ‘Talk to Frank’. After 4 years of touring I made it my goal to get in to the world of business. I was advised that with my fun, outgoing personality, I would suit the recruitment industry perfectly. As I had no experience within the sector, I knew I would have to start at the bottom, learn about the industry and gradually move up the recruitment ladder. In September 2013 I started working on reception for Your World Healthcare, I instantly fell in love with the working environment and realised that acclimatising to the industry was a wise move. I loved the fact that as a result of consultant’s tireless work, patients were getting seen faster within the NHS and private sector. Six months on, and I am now a Dietetics Recruitment Consultant at Your World Healthcare. I am learning from some of the very best in the industry, whom are teaching me everything there is to know about being the best recruiter I can be for both my clients and candidates.As a dance teacher I have been brought up with a ‘can do’ attitude and not to listen to anyone who says ‘I can’t do it’ or that a task is ‘too hard’. I know that whatever you do, hard work does pay off! I am a very lucky individual in that I still get to work with kids, and give something back to the industry which has made me the person I am today. With my past experience as a performer I never took NO as an answer this is why I know, I will succeed as a Recruiter in the Health Care Industry.
