Responsible for all things tech, development, DevOps, and QA.My introduction to the iGaming industry was as a Development Team Lead, where I was responsible for driving the design, implementation, and delivery of full-stack solutions while leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Software Engineers.Previously, as a Manager in the Technology Consulting group at EY Malta, I worked closely with clients to help them leverage the evolving technological landscape. Cutting edge technologies offer many opportunities to improve performance, mitigate risks, and drive business growth - my goal was to help find the perfect mix of solutions to achieve these objectives.I obtained my Masters in Engineering Management (cum laude), where my research focused on the value that connected smart cities are able to offer to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Additionally, I hold a Bachelors in Electronic Engineering and a Bachelors in Computer Science.Prior to joining EY, I worked at CERN on the ATLAS experiment based in Geneva. My focus was on the automation and containerisation of event processing workloads while being part of the team that manages the 4000 node compute cluster.I've worked closely with a number start-ups in Johannesburg, where my focus within the companies ranged from managing product development teams to building medical grade electronics assembly facilities. I also worked heavily with connected smart devices, the Internet of Things, and business process optimisation.I have previously been involved with the design and development of a high-efficiency solar powered vehicle at the University of Johannesburg, securing key sponsorships and relationships in the process.
