I’m proud to announce that after almost 6 and a half years of being well and truly married to my job at Simonds, I’ve decided to take a step back, and (finally) be married to my wife Jenna, and, our new baby boy Huey, born 27/04/18. I hand the State General Manager baton with great pride to my colleague and friend Mark Shearer, who has already proven in a short time that he can inspire and mobilise a team to achieve stellar results, plus thank the business for offering me my previous role back as Sales and Marketing Manager. Whilst this has been a big decision, in the end it has been an easy one; you can dedicate your whole life to a job, a company or a cause, but it will be your family that is with you until the end. Thanks to those of you closest to me who offered your support and encouragement, and I look forward to getting back to a very familiar part of my work tomorrow after a short paternity break.
