My work supports characterization and creation of explainable, collaborative artificial intelligence approaches to make people safer, more effective, and more efficient at their tasks. My work spans many fields within robotics and computer science, including Large Language Models / Foundation Models, Risk-aware Task and Motion Planning, Massive Scale Simulation, Imitation Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Activity Recognition and Human Behavioral Modeling, Human Factors, and Human-Robot Interaction, with applications across manufacturing / Industry 4.0, cybersecurity, healthcare, disaster response, defense, and assistive technologies.
