Develop and execute marketing plans for events and initiatives to achieve community engagement and revenue goals through organic and paid advertising, press releases, and other collateral.Manage social media accounts, create and curate content to promote the department's initiatives, and analyze engagement data to maintain an engagement rate of 8% or higher.Supervise and manage a team of 4 students, including graphic designers and a marketing coordinator, providing training, oversight, and guidance.Design promotional materials for print and digital advertising using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, GIMP, and OBS.Maintain the department's branding guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment with the University's umbrella brand, including overseeing tabling efforts and maintaining an operating budget of over $30,000.Utilize data analysis and research to develop effective marketing and programming strategies.Manage digital marketing efforts, including website maintenance, email communications, and digital signage.Secure promotional items for events and oversee branding compliance on all promotional materials.Coordinate marketing and advertising for special events, such as Week of Welcome, concerts, and Homecoming, using appropriate marketing mix (e.g., website, print materials, advertising).Document and archive media coverage of events for the department, securing and maintaining images for promotional purposes with cleared image rights.Advise student media groups and recognized student organizations with best marketing practices.Work closely with the Student Affairs Graphic Designer and University Marketing and Communications to ensure compliance with division and University guidelines.Collaborate with external vendors, such as print shops, to manage the production of material goods.In the interim, supervised the activity board (9 coordinators & 1 GA) with a budget of $165,000 from 10/2020-01/2023.
