I have over twenty years of experience working in healthcare and nursing. Currently, I work as the Lead RN of the DPC Virtual RN Team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH). My role involves managing a team of 17 registered nurses who provide remote care and triage to patients through phone and online platforms. Additionally, I am a registered nurse at Willow Springs Care & Rehab, where I am responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and education, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University, with a focus on Nursing Management. I am also a doctoral student in the DNP-FNP program at Bradley University. Furthermore, I serve as the Bradley University GNSA liaison with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and am a graduate student member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.My core competencies include healthcare, nursing, management, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. I am passionate about advancing the field of nursing and improving the health outcomes of diverse and underserved populations, especially those living in rural areas.
