As a recent graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University School of Nursing, I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to the field of nursing. I have a strong passion for animal and human health and a proven track record of excellence and adaptability in various settings.For the past three years, I have been working as a veterinary assistant at Sherwood South Animal Hospital, where I handle stressful situations, assist with surgeries and procedures, and provide compassionate care to the patients and their owners. I also have two years of research experience at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, where I gained proficiency in multiple laboratory techniques, such as DNA and RNA isolation, Western Blot, and kidney tissue histology. These experiences have enhanced my critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as my attention to detail and accuracy. I am looking for opportunities to join a dynamic and diverse team of nurses, where I can contribute to the delivery of high-quality and evidence-based care, learn from experienced mentors, and advance my professional development. I am ready to take the NCLEX as soon as possible, and I am confident that I have the qualifications and the motivation to succeed in this rewarding and challenging career.
