Planned and delivered high-quality lessons across the Year 1 curriculum at this Outer-London based Primary School. Built strong and appropriate relationships with students based upon mutual respect through communicating high expectations, effective behaviour management and creating a nurturing classroom climate. Assessed and monitored pupil progress in order to support progress for all students and to support the recovery curriculum following school closures as a result of Covid-19. Established professional relationships with colleagues in order to create/share planning, improve my practice and to support the needs of pupils and their families. Regularly communicated with parents and care givers in order to provide feedback, share progress and ensure student well-being.

My friend Sarah Schreiber and I created a year-long fundraising campaign through which we raised over £2,000 pounds to support three charities close to our hearts, Macmillan Cancer Support, Age UK and MIND. The campaign involved a walking challenge of 2019 miles between us over the year, through independent walks and our involvement in Tough Mudder and Macmillan Mighty Hikes events. We were so amazing by the generosity and support we received throughout our challenge, thank you to everyone who sponsored, shared or shared the miles with us.
