I joined as the sole curriculum designer, creating the blueprint of the nonprofit and school based Character Education program, ‘Kids with Character’ for instructors to teach in diverse schools. I transitioned to also leading and consulting primary years educators under the Train to Trainers (ToT) model to deliver the program. As the lead trainer and designer, I taught over 50+ hours of training workshops for new and experienced educators and regularly evaluated the curricular with project officers and coordinators to effectively integrate 9 ‘Kids with Character’ modules for Years 1 to 4 students of different schools.

I coached early childhood and primary year teachers on an individual level, observed their classroom practices and evaluated their weekly progress to execute various teaching methodologies (ie. experiential learning, storytelling, role plays…etc.) and to cater to diverse learners needs. Integrating educational psychology principles into classroom management, student engagement and building meaningful communication with children and parents were main the foci of monthly professional development trainings I led.

I delivered 250 hours of strengths-based and person-centered interventions to cater best to the needs of adolescence with my toolkit of multidisciplinary and evidence based approaches in two secondary schools of students with diverse backgrounds.

I initiated, oversaw and implemented over 400+ innovative Character building and Social Emotional Learning programs and projects to be used in primary schools and the academy itself. This involved also coordinating closely with community service organisations, like Make a Wish, Hope Worldwide and Ebenezer School of Visually Impaired, to supplement experiential learning goals for children aged 2-12. In this role, I managed early childhood and primary teams and collaborated with administrators and principals to implement projects that involved consultations with community partners or experiential learning providers, resource allocation, budget forecasting, venue related arrangements and monitoring the quality and completion of the entire process. I also regularly partnered with parents on a monthly basis to share observations about their child and empower their families with individualized plans and parenting resources to support their needs.

I piloted and delivered game-based Character Workshops - the ‘Zoom’ series, which was integrated in every Children Adventure Camps, Explorer Camps and Children’s Classics Reading Camps for children of 4-9 years old, to enrich their character growth in the core YMCA values of respect, caring, responsibility and honesty. The execution involved project management skills from conceptualisation to finalisation, material sourcing, budget estimations and briefings with camp coordinators to align new objectives, delegate tasks and conduct risk assessments to guarantee seamless on-day delivery.

I mentored 15+ adolescents in leadership, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills towards achieving the Bronze Duke of Edinburg (DoE) Award alongside with other camp counselors. The role also involved overseeing adolescents' community service projects by consistently following-up with their progress, suggesting options and keen attention adopt emerging global trends and their changing interests.

I tailored lesson plans and taught 90+ students of diverse academic abilities in the subject Liberal Studies (Multidisciplinary subject of economics, history, social sciences and humanities). I also created standardised form tests on opinionated essays, and worked closely with the Head of Liberal Studies department to evaluate student's academic growth. Within 2 months, I implemented an Action Plan research on classroom instructional strategies that increased student motivation across three classes.

I created themed and age appropriate camp itineraries, staff handbooks and rundowns for Children Adventure, Explorer and Reading camps, involving out-trips, swimming, carnivals, mass games, cookery sessions and drama workshops. Oversaw 20+ camp counselors and 50+ campers aged 4-9 per camp across 6 camps and acted as liason between parents and back office.
