I was still responsible for creating, maintaining, and distributing technical publications on a day-to-day basis. In this role, as well as managing Technical Publications workload and assigning work to other Product Support members and apprentices, I also deputised in the team manager’s absence. This role also allowed me to liaise with OEM's to establish their technical publication needs, liaise with subcontractors concerning the production of CMM’s and E-Learning materials on a greater level than before, and liaise with relevant departments in the development and use of desk top applications for the benefit of enhanced document production. -

I have also been trained in AeroSpace and Defence Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE100).My day-to-day duties would include liaising with Design Engineers to gather information for new and existing CMM’s, as well as managing Technical Publications workload and delegating work to other Product Support members and apprentices. Other duties included working with Product Support Engineers to answer customer queries, distribution of all technical publications, maintaining customer contacts, liaising with subcontractors concerning the production of CMM’s and E-Learning materials, and training apprentices within Product Support. -

I interacted with people on a daily basis, both alone and as part of a team. During my time in this role I trained other team members in various departmental tasks.In this time I used a wide range of software including Microsoft Office packages, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat packages, and Adobe FrameMaker. -
