This included the planning and introduction of technical publications, in conjunction with Customer Support and Project Management, and negotiating timescales for completion.I was responsible for all Technical Publications and the Technical Publications team, managing workloads for myself and my team, and developing and implementing effective processes and methods to support the creation and maintenance of our technical publications and other documentation. As a part of this role, I not only had to understand the industry standards and specifications, but I also had to communicate these to the Technical Publications team to ensure that we met contractual requirements, by holding regular team meetings.I was also tasked with improving our processes and standarising our other documentation to the same high levels of our CMM’s. As a part of this I needed to identify any methods and/or publishing tools that were required for efficient running of the department, and define checks and processes to ensure that all technical publications, and other documents, meet industry and quality standards as required.

During my time in this role I trained other team members in various departmental tasks.In this time I used a wide range of software including Microsoft Office packages, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat packages, and Adobe FrameMaker.
