Supporting the incredible frontline Technicians that install Virgin Media's home broadband service.In this role I provided support and advice to line managers on a variety of employment issues, helping them to maintain good standards of things such as attendance, employee retention, wellbeing and engagement. My proudest achievements in this role include: - My work as a Mental Health First Aider and supporting the conversations around Mental Health with both Managers and Employees. Coaching our Managers to have supportive conversations with their team members around mental health, and ensuring the provision of appropriate training in relation to this. This enabled them to feel more confident in supporting individuals who were struggling with mental health issues and helping those with mental health related absence return to work with the right support.- Driving the 'Women in Field' programme to help increase the numbers of female technicians in a male dominated industry. This included a bold and targeted recruitment campaign encouraging women who were passionate about doing a technical role to take the step forward and to challenge the stereotypes associated with this. And working to create a more inclusive culture that was required to nurture a more diverse workforce.
