Managed an independent, 5 acre rural retail nursery operation. Worked as grower of over 5,000 trees, shrubs and perennials per year. Assisted in maintaining a half acre display garden that is used as a place to test new plants on the market and is used as a video/photography studio for Meredith's many publications. Weeding, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and planting were main duties. I also helped with water feature upkeep and some record keeping.
