I work as a personal shopper, picking the freshest products for customers who place their orders online. I also work in direct to boot, taking orders out to customers cars and loading it in the boot.

My role required me to bio screen visitors to a large multi complex retirement village and aged care setting during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. My role was the first line of defence in protecting the community. It included temperature checking visitors in vehicles and on foot, recording details with a series of questions to assist with contact tracing if required. This enabled me to enhance my customer service and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution to ensure each visitor understood what was required of them when on site. I worked autonomously and within a team on rotating shifts i.e. early morning and late afternoon. I was trained in PPE procedures, infection control, manual handling and fire training.
